This is a deep rich stew with flavours of caramel and brown onion.

YIELD 11Kg  PREP TIME 30mins  COOK TIME 2 Hours


1 The Flavour Lab Perfect Beef Stew
5kg Beef Stew on the bone
750g Carrots diced
1.2kg Medium potatoes diced
1kg Onions chopped
4L  Water


  1. Place meat, onions, carrots into 2 separate inserts.
  2. Mix together The Flavour Lab Perfect Beef Stew with the water. Share the mixture between the 2 inserts.
  3. Pre-heat your oven to 175C on 20% steam, cover the inserts with foil or the insert lid. Set the timer for 2 hours, once oven has reached temperature place the inserts into the oven.
  4. After 1 hour remove from the oven and share the potatoes between the 2 dishes, cover and place back into the oven for the remainder of the time.
  5. After 30 min remove the lid or cover and cook open for the last 30min.
  6. Stir to combine the ingredients and allow for the thickening to complete.
