We are looking for a Junior Quality Controller that has experience working in a food production factory. 

To qualify you must have passed Matric, a relevant Diploma or Degree in Quality Control or Food Science.

1 to 3 years of practical experience in food, spice or fast-moving consumers goods FMCG manufacturing.

Practical understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), good laboratory practices (GLP) and HACCP

• Incoming inspection: Inspect all raw spice, liquid ingredients and packaging materials against set specifications before releasing them to production 
• Documentation verification: verify certificates of Analysis (COA's), certificate of Conformance and supplier delivery notes
• Sample testing: Collect samples of all incoming raw materials and run quality tests
• Non-conformance reporting: Reject non-compliant raw materials, log defect reports and coordinate supplier return
• Strong attention to detail, basic computer literacy and clear communication skills.
